Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity provides funding to help us build homes that we sell to low-income families, promoting our mission to end generational poverty in our county and providing important and valuable support for our goal of providing a more "green" environment by taking useful new and used, and excess materials from every type of building project and home renovation, and recycling them and not putting them in landfills. As a Habitat ReStore volunteer, you play a vital part in our ReStore work and operations.

Description

At Habitat for Humanity ReStore we except donations from our community members, we then put the items out on the floor for sale. The proceeds obtained stay in our community to help restore and build homes for families in need.

Our volunteers come from many walks of life. They have different backgrounds, skills, education levels and physical abilities, but all volunteers have one thing in common: they are not content with wishing or hoping for housing conditions to improve, they believe in taking action with their own two hands.

We invite you to join us make a difference at our ReStore. Volunteers here help by maintaining structure in the store, helping clean and place items out for sale, we at times need volunteers to help lift heavier donations from donor’s vehicles and bring them into our intake area, and we also have a need for a couple of cashiers willing to donate their time and talents.
