​TALMAR is dedicated to enhancing health for people of all ages and abilities through horticulture and agriculture.
Description
TALMAR provides vocational and horticultural therapy programming to youth and adults of all abilities. We also train military veterans in sustainable agriculture through a partnership with the Veteran Administration. Our farm provides services to individuals and groups throughout the season. We are a working vegetable and cut flower farm in Parkville MD.

I brought my class to Talmar throughout the school 2009-2010. They worked in the greenhouse and in the fields. During that time they were able to develop skills not only in the garden environment but socially as well. The staff were always friendly, helpful and artfully instructive. They seemed to put our kids at ease while working there and the feedback from the class was positive as well. I enjoyed watching the students grow as well as the plants they planted!
