Are you good at organizing? Residential Hospice is in need of administrative volunteers. Specifically, we are looking for individuals to help with sending out mailings, entering documentation, finding resources, assembling training binders, and making bereavement calls. Although you won't be working directly with patients, your work will support the care for patients and their families. Additionally, if interested, you may have the opportunity to speak with members of our recently bereaved families. However you choose to help as an administrative volunteer, your work will assist us in providing the best possible care for our terminally ill patients and their families. If this role sounds like a good fit for you, please get in touch to arrange an interview - we look forward to hearing from you!

As a representative of the Armed Forces (active or retired), volunteering your time with a Residential Hospice Veteran means sharing a common language, culture, and code of honor with someone who appreciates the bond that is unique to those with military service. Assisting our Veterans and their families through listening, reminiscing, and sharing experiences develops trust and safety between people with common life experiences and brings healing and validation that is mutually beneficial and rewarding. As part of our commitment to the We Honor Veterans program, we invite any interested Veterans to learn more about how you can offer companionship, caring and honor those that have served and protected our country. We welcome your inquiries and hope to hear from you soon.

Are you compassionate and caring and looking to help others in your community? If so, we'd love for you to consider volunteering with our patients and families. Residential Hospice is seeking dedicated volunteers to help patients and families during their end-of-life journey. Our volunteers provide companionship and friendship to patients wherever they are, be it at in a nursing facility or at home. Volunteers may engage with patients in variety of ways. These activities can range from reading aloud, doing puzzles, or attending facility activities with the patient to simply listening to music, talking or holding a hand. Volunteers also may provide a respite for caregivers who are caring for a loved one, by sitting with a patient while the caregiver can take time for themselves. As a hospice volunteer, your presence and support can make an impact for our patients and their families. If this seems like something that would be a good fit for you, we’d love to hear from you.
