Mission Statement

The Academy Center of the Arts is Greater Lynchburg’s center for arts, culture, and community building. Our mission is to serve our community through arts and culture. We do this through arts education; gallery shows; and performances by nationally renowned artists, local partner organizations, and our very own community members. The Academy is also committed to making sure the arts are available to all citizens despite economic restrictions.
