Mission Statement

The mission of the Minnesota State Fair Foundation 501(c)(3) is to preserve and improve the historic Minnesota State Fair buildings, grounds and educational programs.

Description

Based on the historic 1911 Agricultural Society creed, the Foundation believes that the Minnesota State Fair is a mirror of Minnesota greatness, a school for her citizens, and a place where all are welcome, entertained and experience the results of the best thought and effort in all lines of endeavor.

Our funding priorities are to 1) preserve and improve historic buildings; 2) support State Fair educational programs; 3) fund new facilities; and 4) beautify the fairgrounds. Projects range from gardens and trees to naming on major buildings.

The Foundation is governed by a board of directors and supported by over 100 volunteers.
