Libbie's Place Senior Day Program

Description

Licensed adult day care for people age 55 and over. We are open Monday - Friday from 7:30 am until 5:45 pm. We provide daily support for older adults who are experiencing memory loss, physical decline, or those that are socially isolated. We offer a daily schedule of activities that include exercise, music, spiritual time, horticulture, current events, health education and community outings. We provide medication assistance and help with personal hygiene for those in need. A hot lunch and 2 snacks are included each day. Bus transportation on Galveston Island and the mainland area is provided to/from the program. We offer a monthly caregiver support group and community resources for caregivers in need of information for caring for an older adult.
