Mission Statement

The mission of this race is to be an educational day for the community as well as a day of support and hope for all cancer patients, their friends, and families.; to raise research dollars; to promote a healthy lifestyle by giving people an opportunity to run and walk for a worthwhile cause.; to promote early screening so that early treatment can begin;to let people know that colon cancer is the number 2 cause of cancer deaths in the United States and if caught early it has a 90% survival rate.
