C.O.P.S. is open to anyone with a willingness to get involved and the desire to make a difference in their community. As a C.O.P.S. volunteer, you will become involved with behind the scene efforts of law enforcement. You will enjoy the camaraderie, the sense of belonging and the feeling of pride that comes with being a part of something worthwhile. I have applied with the Phoenix Police department for Police recruit about two years ago, but was not able to complete the process because of surgeries needed. At this point I still have a dream to help the public enjoy the peace in their neighborhood. Because of budget there are no hiring dates.
