Our Mission is..."To put a smile on the face of a Child in the time of need!"

The purpose of "With Wings and a Halo - R.E.A.C.H. a Child" is to reach out to children across America that find themselves in a crisis situation, whether they are being treated in a Children's Hospital, a Natural Disaster Area Shelter or children who are temporarily homeless or in distress.

Description

Our main program under the "With Wings and a Halo - R.E.A.C.H. a Child" umbrella is called the "B.A.C.K. Packets" program, this initiative centers around our organization providing approximately 10-12 various children's books to officers and first responders in a red backpack for them to give to children (one book at a time) that they see at the scene of an accident, fire, domestic disturbance or other stressful situation where children are involved.

Currently these red backpacks are in 4,000 - 5,000 squad cars and ambulances throughout all 72 counties in Wisconsin and parts of Illinois. Within our first nine months we have donated over 45,000 Children's books to children in crisis situations with the help of these First Responders, Police, Sheriff and State Patrol officers! Likewise, we have a waiting list of over 7,500 squad cars and EMS ambulances in Illinois, 5,000 vehicles waiting in Michigan and 2,500 vehicles waiting in Minnesota to get involved in this "B.A.C.K. Packets" program! We urgently need your assistance, both financially and through your time and talents, to help us expand this program regionally... because of the positive impact that it is having on children in crisis!
