Runnin' for Rhett

Description

On December 7, 2007, the "Runnin' for Rhett Non-Profit Foundation" was formed. As a result, in the spring of 2008 a total of nearly 400 people in all were able to participate in the event. A total of $12,500 was raised and the very first "Runnin' for Rhett" scholarship will be awarded to a deserving Sacramento County college student in the spring of 2009.

Rhett had many blessings and moved many people during his short life, but could not physically move by himself. He inspired so many people with his laugh and infectious smile that our goal is to let Rhett's story inspire those who feel defeated, to uplift those who feel down and to encourage people to take that first step, like Beth did in the spring of 2005, get up and out and MOVE INTO LIFE .
