Description
Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Alabama’s mission is to eliminate substandard housing in Northwest Alabama (Fayette, Franklin, Lamar, Marion and Winston) and to make simple, decent, affordable housing a matter of conscience for all. HFHNWAL provides exceptional services to ensure that low-income families in Northwest Alabama have the opportunity of homeownership and asset-building by bringing people together to build & repair homes, communities and hope. For over 15 years, HFHNWAL has been offering a hand up to low-income families, giving them hope of breaking the generational poverty cycle. Through homebuyer education, volunteer services, post-purchase support, and other services, HFHNWAL provides the opportunity to live in safe, healthy homes and communities. HFHNWAL is able to accomplish its mission by its partnerships with corporate, school, civic and faith-based partners in order to build and repair homes for deserving families in its area.
