Description

The Veteran's Homestead is a long term transitional housing situation with case management in an Agricultural setting. It is difficult for the veterans to reintegrate into society after spending time in combat zones and having their comrades die next to them or they themselves return injured. We work with each one individually as their needs are all different, but together they will face their fears abd also learn different stages of farming ... from gardens to chickens .... from aquaponics to goats and beef cattle. All of this to be able to feed themselves ... family, friends and business classes along with marketing products. Once leaving they will have a support system.
