Mission Statement
The purpose of the Walworth County Volunteer Services office is to maintain a volunteer program that supports and encourages the use of volunteers within Walworth County departments and promote the idea of volunteerism within the community as a whole.
Description
Walworth County Departments that would utilize volunteers would include, Lakeland School, Lakeland Health Care Center, Department of Health and Human Services, Law Enforcement Center, and other departments.

I have been visiting residents at Lakeland Health Care Center for several months. I have laarned a great deal from my new elderly friends there! I have also helped to clear brush at the Whate River County Park in Lyons. What a cool park. I never knew it existed until my volunteer day. Met some great folks there, as well. Colleen was great at matching me up with opportunities that work for me!.

I lost my job the end of June. Volunteering is a great way to network and meet new people as well as keeping your skills up-to-date. I really enjoy helping people and this is a great way to do it. Colleen is very good at getting you into the opportunities that you would enjoy the most.
