Mission Statement

You are about to embark upon an exciting adventure as a Host Family for one of our students from abroad. The exchange student that you are taking into your home and making a part of your family will bring you the chance for a wonderful, enriching cross-cultural experience.

Description

Welcome to ISE! A teenager from abroad is coming into your home and you will be his/her family for the Program's duration.

Our requests are simple:

The student must be provided with his/her own bed, but can share the room with a host brother or sister.

The student must be included in family meals, and perhaps find some snacks in the refrigerator.

If the student gets sick, he/she should be taken care of.

Above all, you will be loving, encouraging, teaching, and learning.

You must be willing to face a challenge. You must be willing to remain flexibile. You are to share your culture and learn about how the world sees your country.
