Mission Statement

Our foundation puts on the Annual Run for Zimbabwe Orphans and Zimbabwean Fair each spring in Mountain View California. We also fund a Garden Project in Paraguay that has 26 gardens and six wells. Our overall mission is to effect positive social change in the youth of The United States, Zimbabwe and Paraguay.

Description

Specific goals for the 10th Annual Run for Zimbabwe Orphans and Fair on Sunday April 5, 2009 in Mountain View, Ca. are: A. For Zimbabwe children: Raise vital funds for Makumbi Children's Home, an orphanage that serves 110 children in Zimbabwe. B. For USA children: Build (regardless of a child's income level) knowledge of Africa, cultural understanding, two-way philanthropy, giving of our gifts to Africa but also receiving the gifts of Africa and promoting physical Fitness via the run. C. Present the music, art, dance, culture and current events of Zimbabwe in a lively, enjoyable, educational way via the Zimbabwean Fair.
