The New Stage Theatre Company, Inc. (NSTC) was founded in 2002 by Ildiko Lujza Blanka Nemeth, with the aim of enriching the contemporary theatrical landscape by bringing international artists together and developing works that embrace their diverse cultural and artistic traditions.

Description

Based in New York City, NSTC is renowned for its multicultural approach. By welcoming a broad range of international artists, the company is able to break through cultural barriers and present a vibrant new theatrical vision while providing opportunities for immigrant artists to establish themselves in New York. The company further dissolves cultural boundaries by premiering existing plays by international playwrights and through creating original scripts with the collaborators within the company. NSTC is dedicated to taking artistic risks by presenting works that employ the theatre as a universal language of art - a means of communication - that overcomes limitations of language, customs and theatrical conventions.
