Description

LIFE Center for Independent Living's four core services are advocacy, independent living skills training, information and referral, and peer mentoring. In addition, we have programs to move people with disabilities from nursing homes back into the community, offer a referral service for personal assistants (personal care attendants), vision services for seniors over 55, educational advocacy, demonstration or loan of durable medical equipment or assistive technology, and teaching self-advocacy skills.

Centers for Independent Living are non-residential, non-profit organizations which are operated and controlled by a 51% majority or more of people with a variety of disabilities.
