M.O.M. was birthed with the support
of the Los Angeles Police Department's
77th Precinct, Charlotte
Austin Jordan and a group of concerned
mothers. This group of
mothers searched to find answers
to address the high violent crime
rate in their community. This
organization was formed to fight
crime, change laws and give support
to victims of
violent crime.
Charlotte and mothers armed
with first hand knowledge of
this crippling epidemic called
murder are working to seek
coordinated resources to one
location and assist devastated
murder survivors. Through
caring counselors and a warm
and spiritual environment,
M.O.M. is able to provide a
holistic approach to support
the family in achieving a successful
road to recovery.
A victim herself, Charlotte's
13 year old and only daughter
Jamee and her eldest son
Corey were victims of senseless
murder. Charlotte understands
what is needed to
heal the community
