Description

The MLBPAA, through its annual 50+ city Swing with the Legends golf series, has raised more than $11 million dollars since 1986. Charities benefiting from the golf series include the following: Children's Hospital, Special Olympics, The Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Little League Baseball among many others. Alumni members also conduct and participate in a series of baseball clinics for today's youth and youth coaches in 40 cities worldwide. The Legends for Youth clinics are free of charge and are the Alumni Association's effort to reach out to youth. The more than 6,000 boys and girls who participate each year not only learn baseball fundamentals, but also hear messages from positive role models about staying in school, teamwork and substance abuse.
