To Feed Montana's hungry by effectively and efficiently distributing food and hunger-related information to all parties concerned with services to all low-income Montanans.
The Montana Food Bank Network is a statewide nonprofit organization that addresses the hunger problem of low-income Montanans by providing resources ot food banks, pantries, rescue missions, soup kitchens, runaway youth homes, senior citizen centers, low-income daycare centers. Through such diverse programs the Network is able to serve a cross-section of low-income and at-risk populations: children, families, the elderly, the working poor, at-risk pregnant women, and Native Americans. The Network strives to meet no only the immediate nutritional needs of Montana's hungry and homeless, but to provide them with long-term solutions to their problems through education and outreach; research into the incidence and causes of hunger; and coordination with other concerned organizations, agencies and businesses.
