Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The Institute promotes the experience and understanding of movement behavior as a map for accessing the human being in all its complexity and richness. Body language, movement patterns, style of decision making, and expansion of movement vocabulary are some of our areas of study and work. The Institute teaches and offers services in movement analysis, according to the theories and practices created and developed by Rudolf Laban and Irmgard Bartenieff.
The organization includes an educational sector, which is dedicated to the teaching of introductory to advanced levels of Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) and Bartenieff Fundamentals sm, including the Certification Programs leading to the CMA title (Certified Movement Analyst); an Arts & Culture sector, responsible for the relationship between this field of knowledge and its other fields; and the research sector, which is responsible for extending and disseminating the LMA/BF knowledge.
