Mission Statement

Caring Carroll is a non-profit organization that helps older and disabled adults in Carroll County, Maryland to remain living independently. We train and support volunteers, who assist with tasks such as transportation and errands; light housekeeping, yard work, or home repairs; and friendly visits. Volunteering is flexible and rewarding. Groups and families are welcome. A short training and background check are required.

Description

Originally founded by the Robert Woods Johnson grant under the name "Faith in Action," Caring Carroll assists the elderly and homebound residents of Carroll County, Maryland. We help continue a 25-year tradition of reaching out to the surrounding community to help individuals age in place in a safe and healthy way.

I was recently interviewed for assistance with your organization. The interview was uplifting, and the woman who interviewed me was truly a blessing.
