Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a network of Healthy, Supportive, Nurturing, Communty supported foster homes complete with onsite client specific services for children who are unable to reside with thier biological families. The Foster Parent Association Of Hernando has a commitment to provide this service to all children who may benefit from it. Foster Parent Association Of Hernando promotes community awareness and community support through public appearances and fundraising events in an effort to improve the overall system of care in hernando county

Description

We are made up of people who work hard to enrich and better the lives of children who come into our care. We spend countless hours preparing and doing fundraisers to provide funds which our state does not provide, so that we can take our children on educational and exciting outings. Some of the children in our care have never been to a movie theather or to a zoo, or to an amusement park. We try to arrange as many outings as possible. We also provide gifts and parties for the children during the holiday season.
