Mission Statement

Of Greater Worth Than Gold INC. is a Mentoring Program designed to provide girls ages 11-17 the opportunity to emotionally tap into their greater value and enhance the vital areas of their development through enrichment workshops and events that will stimulate distinct progression of assertiveness, strength, confidence and success for all the young women who are involved. Our Vision is to formulate one-on-one mentoring partnerships between optimistic professional role models in the community and young girls facing challenges in their personal, social and educational lives.

Description

Of Greater Worth Than Gold, Inc. offers youth, that have already been identified as at-risk, an opportunity to work with a caring mentor to improve their ability to develop a positive attitude towards their future. The long-term goal of Of Greater Worth Than Gold, Inc. is to empower the young person to break the habits that are leading to trouble in school and in the streets.
