The mission of the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum is to collect, preserve, and interpret late 19th and early 20th century Carrollton history while making appropriate use of the authentically restored Perry home and outbuildings, a designated historic site.
A lovely story and a half restored and preserved homestead that was owned by DeWitt C. Perry, a son of a founding father of Carrollton: A.W. Perry. It was completed in 1909 utilizing building materials carefully salvaged from the first Perry family home, built around 1857. The Museum displays authentic period furnishings and is maintained by the City of Carrollton.
