Mission: To unite the Scandinavian communities of Colorado through education, business, and social opportunities. The SAoC strives to connect our heritage and inspire others through social inclusion and civic partnerships. Vision: Our vision is to create an inclusive community within Colorado that promotes and furthers Scandinavian heritage, culture, and education. Description

The Alliance was formed in March 2016 when we took over the management of the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival, and saw the need for greater involvement between the various Scandinavian organizations in the area. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our website is designed as a resource for finding out about all things Scandinavian in Colorado - classes, organizations, shopping, dance, music, fairs and events. We hope the Scandinavian community will refer to and add to this website, and to use the Facebook page as a place to exchange ideas. The Alliance sponsors the annual Scandinavian Midsummer Festival held the fourth weekend each June in Estes Park, Colorado.
