Mission Statement

The mission of the Baltimore Child Abuse Center is to provide all reported victims of sexual abuse in Baltimore City, and their non-offending caretakers, with comprehensive interviews, medical treatment, referral, and/or crisis counseling services.

Description

BCAC provides a wide range of services to children and families experiencing the trauma of sexual abuse. We provide free forensic interviews and medical exams to all reported victims of child sexual abuse. We also provide any treatment or counseling referals that the child or their family may need. We also offer several in-house treatment programs for parents and families, as well as prevention and community outreach services for schools, churches, and other community organizations.
