Mission Statement

The Voluntary Action Center will serve as a clearinghouse for volunteer efforts; provide education, training, and technical assistance to community based organizations and volunteers; and will collaborate with others to address timely community issues.

Description

Voluntary Action Center assists those indivuals, groups, youth, and families who are looking to dontate their time to volunteer in their community by finding out what their interests and skills are and matching them with needs in the community. We also house a grant center which assists agencies in seeking funding. All of which is done on a volunteer basis.

Voluntary Action Center will make a sincere effort to match you with a local agency that can utilize your services. They will even find several agencies so that you can choose from among them--until you find one that is a good match. The staff is friendly and helpful.
