Mission Statement

The Genesis Project is a non-profit organization that helps women exit prostitution and give them hope for a new life. We believe that every life can be redeemed and fully restored through Jesus Christ, and that through Him our clients can be healed from all of the trauma they have lived through. Our staff, volunteers, and supporters from the community all come alongside each other in this vision to rescue, restore, and release the women into lives they can thrive in and be proud of.

Description

The Genesis Project is a faith-based drop-in center for women exiting prostitution. We help them with whatever is preventing them from living the lives they hope for. This includes placing them in housing, detox programs, GED training, life skills training, helping them with court appointments. We also provide them with basic needs, such as food, clothing, and toiletries. We assign a case manager to each client and provide counseling if they desire. Those things combined with volunteers, staff, and interns pouring their hearts out to the clients gives them the love and the emotional support they need to keep moving forward in their lives.
