Mission Statement

People Aspiring to Cycle and Exercise, Inc., is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and resources for people with disabilities as described in the American Disabilities Act. PACE offers a noncompetitive atmosphere geared toward introducing people to cycling and other recreational activities. PACE believes in educating and advocating healthy and active lifestyles through support groups, events, and recreational activities while accommodating people with disabilities.

Description

This year we are really going all out with a new website that has an interactive map where we hope to get volunteers from every state to help populate the map with information on support groups, businesses, and other nonprofit organizations for each state! We hope the map will serve as a resource for people with disabilities to be able to easily locate information. It is a large effort and we have started with Nebraska--and it is only an example. We need to expand it. Our second initiative is to have a national campaign for pedestrian safety. We need to raise money too--so we need new blood to help us raise money for our efforts. Please volunteer!
