Some have served our military during peacetime. As a Veteran, you can honor our hospice Veterans by sharing your stories and by providing a special tribute with a pinning ceremony for their dedication and service to our armed forces. Vigil Volunteers for Hospice Patients We are looking for dedicated and compassionate volunteers to provide a calming and loving presence to a dying patient in the final hours of life so the patient does not die alone. The volunteer can recite prayers, play calming music, and hold the patient's hand.
