Description
Aztec Ruins National Monument is an Ancestral Puebloan Community from the 1100s. The architectural stone masonary structure has over 400 rooms surrounded by a large open plaza and a Great Kiva that has been reconstructed on over 300 acres near the Animas river in Northwestern New Mexico.
