Mission Statement

The Caneille Regional Development Fund (CRDF) is a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission of creating opportunity through education in rural Haiti. Our work is deeply rooted in the belief that education is the key for families to escape the trap of poverty. 100% of the funds donated to CRDF go directly to help the children and families in Caneille, Haiti.

Description

CRDF's primary project was the founding and continued operation of a tuition-free primary school which enrolls over 200 children a year. Being a small and flexible organization has been the key to our success with secondary projects. Our structure allows us to identify and respond quickly to needs in the community and school. In order for both our primary and secondary efforts to continue to be successful, CRDF focuses on fundraising efforts throughout the year. Many of these fundraising events require more volunteers than we have board members, so we are seeking individuals who are just as passionate about this cause to help us out.
