Mission Statement

The main purpose of Jaycees to develop leadership skills for young adults through volunteer service projects. You will learn new aspects of community involvement during the planning and management of events and will develop skills such as city and event permits and licenses, advertisement, public speaking, time management, fundraising, teamwork and other skills specific to our hometown style events. Through the many hours of teamwork, we all feel as though the Jaycees is an extended family and have developed long term friendships and welcome anyone to come join us.

Description

In order to encourage development of leadership skill in young adults, active voting membership is limited to adults 18 - 40 years old. We still welcome anyone outside that age range that would like to come out and volunteer or lend their experience in mentoring those just experiencing new roles in leadership.

Our general membership meetings are open to the public and are held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 7PM in Murphy Park, Taylor, TX. We welcome anyone to come out and see what we are about.
