• AS demands of the world’s population races toward a projected 9 billion by 2050, diminishing land and water resources ANRT recognizes the need to protect land and to support a viable agricultural economy to provide food, recreation, and watersheds for the long-term ecological health and viability of our community
• WE create awareness of this need with public outreach, partnerships and education to help promote farm and range land conservation and ag sustainability
• TO do this we partner with landowners, conservation agencies and other concerned entities to preserve, protect and encourage conservation and stewardship of agricultural & range lands, watersheds, habitat and related resources in and connected to Contra Costa and Alameda Counties
• BY annually stewarding those lands we insure compliance with the terms and conditions associated with their easements thereby preserving them for future generations
