Mission Statement

Self Sufficient Life's (SSL) missions is to perform cutting edge research in new ways to perform waste management and efficient ways to farm in a tight, urban setting. Using this knowledge, we want to empower people to grow their own food, process their own waste and and minimize their use of conventional power.

Description

Our entomologiest is an expert in breeding black soldier flies and we have a full BSF operation on site.

Our master gardner is growing vegetables and sells them at the local East Palo Alto farmers market and local restaurants.

We have events where this knowledge gets shared with people in the community and whoever is interested in learning about a sustainable lifestyle.
