The mission of Girls Incoroporated of New York City is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold! We carry out our mission by delivering innovative, research-based educational programs with girls ages 6 - 18 and their families throughout New York City.

Description

Girls Incorporated of New York City delivers educational programs during the school day and out of school time at schools, libraries, community organizations and city agencies. Our programs engage girls in interactive workshops that break gender stereotypes and focus on health, sexuality, media literacy, economic literacy, career development, violence prevention, science, technology and sports.

We also train youth development professionals in the areas of gender equity and program design.
