Mission Statement

MissionSAFE was created in 1998 to address the needs of low-income and at-risk youth in Boston. Our mission is to work with highly at-risk youth and their families to gain the skills and confidence to thrive, not just survive, and to improve their community and their world.

Description

MissionSAFE helps 300 high-risk, low-income youth to reach their full potential with a full continuum of highly effective multi-disciplinary services and supports that enhances educational, leadership, social and civic engagement, skills and achievement. Our Relational/Developmental/Trauma-Informed programming addresses the needs of the whole child, within the context of the home, school, neighborhood and larger community. MissionSAFE's proven wrap-around services assist high-risk youth to build resilience, hope, and contrete skills; develop dreams and goals, and build the personal resources, networks, group skills and persistence to realize them.
