Tango For All is a non-profit performance art organization who explores and develops Argentine Tango’s power of expression to cultivate and unite all persons and backgrounds through artmaking, performance and teaching. We believe that the best way to break barriers is to embrace and connect during live gatherings. Only then can we learn and heal ourselves and one another.
The New York City-based TANGO FOR ALL was founded by Diego Blanco and Ana Padron in 2015 as a performing and teaching company with the aim of promoting the art of Argentine tango to the widest possible audiences through performances and classes open to students of all backgrounds and ages.
TANGO FOR ALL's Youth Outreach programs involve:
8-week summer program designed to serve inner-city children grades six through eight. Committed to bringing dance into the classrooms, communities and lives of people throughout. The program offers special performances, lecture-demonstrations, dance socials and curriculum-based classes.
To the Theater-is a new program that offers the community the opportunity to view a free dress rehearsal showing of Tango For All production during their New York City season followed by Q&A with the artist.
