Become a volunteer Community Driver for Future In Sight. Help drive individuals in NH who are blind and visually impaired to essential appointments and errands. You will make a difference by easing isolation for those who are blind and visually impaired in New Hampshire. Volunteer drivers are needed in every community across New Hampshire. Drivers are especially needed in Manchester, the Lakes Region, Nashua, Portsmouth, Dover, and the North Country. The opportunities are very flexible, drivers choose how often they want to drive, how far, and how much time they want to share. We reimburse for mileage! Orientation provided. Your volunteer experience is supported by Future In Sight staff.

Become a COMMUNITY VISTOR to a person in New Hampshire who is blind and visually impaired. There are many activitives you can do while you visit. You can read the newspaper, sort and read mail, and play games just to name a few. Many volunteers have stated that being a vistor, becoming a friend has changed not only the clients life but theirs as well. Opportunities throughout NH.

HELP IN YOUR COMMUNIITY Become a Community Driver...Help drive individuals in NH who are blind or visually impaired to medical appointments, essential errands, shopping or peer support groups. Become a Community Visitor...Volunteer visitors are matched with a specific client and provide companionship and assistance with reading, completing paperwork, shopping, or other tasks as needed. These are great opportunities to positively impact the life of a person who is blind or visually impaired! Special Events... Volunteers provide help with our special events, the annual Walk for Sight and/or programs for clients.

In-Home Community Visitors are needed to help break the isolation experienced by a person who is blind or visually impaired. Listening, reading the newspaper, magazine articles, helping to manage mail. This can be done in your own community or one nearby in New Hampshire. Orientation provided, staff support available.
