Mission Statement
Our primary goal and mission is to save human lives, improve health and quality of life through the most modern ways of prevention and early intervention.
Description
Our organization works in Northern Madagascar and our projects involve combat with malnutrition, malaria, tuberculosis, Sti/Hiv and other diseases. We have the supplies, we have the facilities, but we seek additional skilled international volunteers to help us make the difference.
We wish to increase awareness of our projects primarily among students/trainees at colleges and universities as well as professionals around the globe. Past volunteers come from many countries around the world and vary in age from 16 to 70.
Volunteers usually come for 2-12 weeks and work either with children doing nutritional assessment (weight, height, head circumference), help with mosquito net distribution, assist in and around a local clinic, help with vaccine distribution and monitoring. Volunteers can also teach chidren at a local school or take on projects such as sanitation, dental hygiene, power supply enhancement etc.
