Mission Statement

AFGGC was created on behalf of the children who have been denied access to their grandparents. It is comprised of grandparents, grandchildren, and parents united for the purpose to advocate for those children, to educate and bring into awareness, and support the grandparents who suffer from the loss of affection and contact with their grandchildren.

Description

AFGGC provides ongoing community and national outreach through free counseling, support, education and referrals. AFGGC campaigns to raise awareness to government agencies, legislators, organizations and general public about the growing problem of denied grandparent visitation and the consequences brought upon a child emotionally as a consequence when a strong bond is broken. Children have few rights, we believe their liberty interests must be addressed.
