Our Mission The goals of Dogs 2nd Chance: * Rescue abandoned and stray dogs * Attempt to reunite lost dogs with their families * Provide safe haven in loving, temporary foster homes * Provide any necessary medical care * Reduce euthanasia rates - get adoptable pets out of animal shelters ALIVE * Provide public education about the problem of animal overpopulation * Decrease pet overpopulation through Spay/Neuter programs. * Promote the principles of responsible pet ownership, including the spaying & neutering of all companion animals, the necessity of year-round heartworm preventative and regular veterinary care. * Find new loving forever homes for each adoptable animal
