Youth Empowerment Services Network (YES-Network)

Description

• Neighborhood Network Program- The mission of the Neighborhood Network program is to recruit, coordinate, and create collaborative support services for existing and new direct service partners. A major goal of the program is to implement at least one of these programs: Creative Expression Training, Educational Assistance, Drug Education and Violence Prevention Training, Health Awareness and Activity Training, Job Readiness, and Mentoring.
• Community Economic Development is a way of building on local assets, improving local economy, assisting small businesses, neighborhood improvement efforts, strengthening community pride and recruiting community financial partners. YES-Network will bring Building Personal Assets Training into the community teaching parenting, employer and employee skills; Neighborhood Enrichment Program that includes safety, lifestyle, development and involvement, and Health Clinics to assist community members in understand the value of healthy lifestyles.
• Leadership Training Institue-The mission of the LTI program is to empower non profit and community leaders with current and relevant information about Tucson and Pima County communities and empowerment skills so they provide 1) experienced leadership 2) quality management 3) effective programming to youth and families in Tucson and Pima County communities. Instruction is given in Organizational Development, Program Development, Revenue Development, Marketing, and Community Engagement.
