RACHEL'S TABLE: A PROJECT OF THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS INC

Description

Six days a week, Rachel's Table volunteers pick up food donated by supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, hospitals, schools, caterers, etc. and deliver it to agencies that serve the hungry and homeless. Rachel's Table has a Teen Board of volunteers, 7th - 12th grade, that work to alleviate childhood hunger and educate youth about hunger issues. There are various fundraising, foodraising, and educational programs throughout the year that also benefit from volunteers.
