Mission Statement

The National Christian Foundation exists to enable faithful stewards to give wisely to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Description

Founded in 1982, The National Christian Foundation and its nationwide network of Local Christian Foundation (LCF) affiliates have granted almost $1.5 billion to over 20,000 churches, ministries and charitable organizations worldwide. To accomplish its mission, NCF and the LCFs offer expert counsel and innovative, flexible charitable giving tools and solutions to help:

  • Individuals and families simplify the administration of their charitable giving. NCF also helps givers to experience a greater impact with their charitable giving by providing sophisticated gift planning, the acceptance of non-liquid assets, and the use of tools that allow givers to balance their contributions with income needs.
  • Churches and ministries offer creative ways of giving to their supporters, which can lead to significant new funding for their organization.
  • Professional advisors (financial planners, CPAs, attorneys, and others) present charitable giving expertise to their clients, therefore turning their practice into a ministry and ensuring stronger relationships.
NCF is ranked annually among the top ten U.S foundations according to grant distributions and among the top five public foundations known for number of categories (variety of contributions). NCF is a proud member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
