Mission Statement

HopeLine's mission is to support people and save lives during times of crisis through caring, confidential conversations. We do this by providing the community with a free and confidential crisis and suicide prevention helpline that offers crisis intervention, supportive and non-judgmental active listening, gentle and understanding discussion of crisis resolution, and referrals to appropriate community resources.

HopeLine - (919) 231-4525 - provides free, confidential, caring, non-judgmental listening, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention services as well as information referrals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

HopeLine is made up of special people that are in turn concerned about special people. All of the volunteer staff members are thoroughly trained, educated, and volunteer their time to ensure positive outcomes that are gratifying in being able to help others, as well as being awesome representatives for HopeLine.

Hopeline is a great organization. It is very gratifying to be able to support people when they are in a real crisis situation or they just need a supportive, non-judgemental ear. The training is great and covers everything you need to know.
