Description

The Oldest Black History Museum located in the city of Atlanta. Founded in 1978 by vetran filmaker Dan Moore, Sr., inspired by the life of Dr. Benjamin Mays.

The APEX reaches over 65,000 visitors from all 50 states and 50 foreign countries.

Open 6 days a week in the historic distric of Auburn Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia.

The museum changes exhibits quarterly.
