As a small group, we went for a walk. It was a mix group. While we were talking about how to count specific flora locally, someone mentioned "this is how.. I had always imagined" and.. that made me stop and I said. "Same, Me too." We were talking about our shared experience. It was the knowledge, it was fun factor, it was aligning your vision with someone else's and to use each others time and resources for making environment matter. National 501C, reaching out and helping local communities is another great reason. How often do you get to work with organizations who have ability to do that. Treecounting and treemapping using technology has a huge impact. Learning so many new things. I LOVE IT.
