Village Gardens brings a spirit of hope to the people by growing and sharing healthy food, learning and teaching skills, and empowering community leadership.

Description

We are a food justice organization facilitating a variety of food-based programming in North Portland's New Columbia, a multicultural mixed income community. We oversee community gardens, an orchard, a chicken coop, community kitchens, Food Works youth-run organic farm, a healthy corner store called the Village Market, and the New Columbia Farmer's Market.
